These finder adapters allow the use of Picatenny rail type gun scopes,
reflex sights, iron sights and other accessories with your telescopes.
Picatenny rails, also known as STANAG 2324 or MIL-STD-1913 rail, is a
military standard mounting platform for firearm accessories. The 21.2mm
(0.835") wide segmented rails are common on civilian guns. All manner
of gun scopes, sights, reflex finders and night vision sights use this rail
system. Picatenny is obviously a sturdy mounting system, tolerant of the
intense shock generated by large caliber firearms.
Customers have asked for this type adapter, so here they are! Long and
short rail (5.5" and 2.65") versions are available, and the Orion types are
also available with a riser block that spaces the rail up by 0.3" inches.
